A Day in Your Life at MKS

As a Software Intern in the IT Department at MKS, you will collaborate with Development and Internal IT Teams to support, develop, and enhance software applications. In this role, you will report to the IT Development Team Lead.

You Will Make an Impact By:

Assisting in developing and testing AI/RPA/React or any other software applications to meet company needs.
Supporting the maintenance and troubleshooting of existing applications and databases.
Collaborating with team members to analyze user requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
Assisting in debugging software issues and implementing solutions.
Participating in code reviews and learning best practices in software development.
Documenting processes and assisting in creating user manuals for software solutions.

Skills You Bring:

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
0+ years of job-related work experience; some internship or project experience preferred.
Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, React, or Machine Learning and AI concepts.
Familiarity with databases like SQL and understanding of RESTful APIs.
Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).

Preferred Skills:

Experience with web development frameworks (e.g., HTML/CSS, JavaScript, React, etc.).
Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in team environments.
In case of AI Intern, familiarity with machine learning and Artificial Intelligence concepts.
