About the Role

As an Engineering Intern at Vymo, you’ll gain hands-on experience working on a fast-paced product used by some of the world’s leading financial institutions. You’ll collaborate with experienced engineers and PMs, contribute to real projects, and grow your skills in a high-impact environment.

What You’ll Work On

Assist in designing and building scalable systems and tools under mentorship.
Contribute to product features and enhancements across the stack.
Debug issues and help improve the performance of existing systems.
Write clean and maintainable code with guidance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, QA, and frontend teams.
Learn and apply best practices in coding, testing, and documentation.

What We’re Looking For

Familiarity with backend development concepts, databases, and servers.
Hands-on experience with at least one language: Python, Java, or Node.js.
Basic understanding of data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving.
Exposure to relational/NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch).
Good understanding of RESTful APIs and version control systems (e.g., Git).
Enthusiastic, curious, and open to learning in a collaborative environment.

Nice to Have

Exposure to Kafka, Redis, or Airflow.
Awareness of cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
Good written and verbal communication skills.

Eligibility

Pursuing B.E/B.Tech (or equivalent) in Computer Science or related fields.
Previous internship experience is a plus but not mandatory.
