About the Role
VectorShift is a No-Code Generative AI Platform.
As a Backend Engineer, you will build new and enhance existing VectorShift product lines,
including improving workflow run efficiency and scalability, integrating new AI
developments into our platform, and managing our database infrastructure.
This is a challenging and dynamic role, working at the forefront of distributed systems
infrastructure and AI.
Key Responsibilities
- Build integrations of the VectorShift platform with third-party applications.
- Engage with customers to understand core pain points and iterate on feature
requests.
- Contribute to customer support, especially for the products you develop.
- Stay updated with the latest AI developments to integrate new capabilities into our
platform.
- Work directly with the founders to conceptualize and implement sub-products and
features end-to-end.
- Lead technical architecture decisions to ensure scalability and maintainability.
- Drive performance optimization efforts.
- Establish foundational technical practices to guide future team members.
Requirements
- Degree in a technical discipline, preferably Computer Science.
- Experience with Python and FastAPI.
- Understanding of performance optimization best practices.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proven ability to overcome challenges.
Nice to Have
- Experience in early-stage startup environments.
- Experience with no/low-code platforms.
- Knowledge in AI, machine learning, and building RAG workflows.

- 45-minute technical discussion with Alex Leonardi.
