If you are a graduate looking for an opportunity to build a career in the Cybersecurity domain, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Pune, India location, you will be a member of a collaborative Product Security group. You will have the opportunity to learn product security and work with global technical leadership teams for product security across Emerson business units worldwide. This role is for Emerson Innovation Centre, Pune (EICP).

Responsibilities

Perform Vulnerability Analysis and Penetration Testing of Web, Thick Client, and Mobile applications used in critical infrastructure.
Conduct Protocol Fuzz Testing of industrial communication protocols.
Provide appropriate mitigation actions for identified vulnerabilities to the development team.
Work closely with the development team to validate and strengthen security controls.

You will quickly learn the dynamic and fast-changing security landscape under the mentorship of senior resources and build a skillset to deliver results independently by the end of the training period.

Requirements

Primary Qualifications:

Familiarity with security pen test tools like Burp Suite, Kali Linux, DAST tools (e.g., App Scanner), or similar widely used tools for Penetration Testing.
Understanding of security protocols such as HTTPS, HSTS, TLS, and SSH.
Strong learning agility and commitment to continuous learning.
Good analytical skills and decision-making capabilities.
Proven verbal and written communication skills.

Secondary Qualifications:

Knowledge of scripting languages (TCL, Perl, Python, Shell, etc.) for exploit development.
Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 and IEC 62443 standards.

Preferred Qualifications

BCA / BSc in Computer Science, completed in 2024 or due to complete by June 2025 from a reputed institute.
Cybersecurity training or certification is an added advantage.
