IDFC FIRST Technology Code-a-thon Challenge is an exclusive hiring opportunity for final-year B.E./B.Tech Computer Science and IT students.
This two-stage coding challenge tests technical capabilities through real-world problem statements and hands-on coding tasks.
Candidates who clear the challenge will earn an interview opportunity for Software Developer/Application Engineer roles at IDFC FIRST Bank in Bangalore, Chennai, and Hyderabad.

Final-year B.E./B.Tech students (8th Semester) from Computer Science or IT disciplines only.
Must be below 26 years of age.
Minimum 55% marks in Class X and XII.
No immediate blood relative working at IDFC FIRST Bank.
No criminal record.

Role: Software Developer/Application Engineer.
Ideal for final-year engineering students or recent graduates eager to start their careers in software development.
Work with experienced engineers to build, test, and improve applications while learning industry best practices.
Responsibilities include developing/debugging software, collaborating with teams, and staying updated on new technologies.
Knowledge required: at least one programming language (Python, Java, C++, JavaScript, etc.), data structures, algorithms, OOPS concepts, databases, and version control (Git).
Additional exposure to cloud platforms, front-end/back-end frameworks, and DevOps principles is a plus.

Stage 1: Online Coding Assessment
- Individual participation.
- Timed online test evaluating coding skills, problem-solving, and algorithmic thinking.
- Top performers move to Stage 2.
Stage 2: Advanced Coding Round / Interviews
- In-person final technical interviews.

- Aptitude Section: 20 minutes.

Questions will differ per slot and are not repeated.
