Job Description

Numerator seeks a fresher candidate for the Associate Engineer – QA role in its Engineering team. The position will develop, document, and execute test cases & automation scripts for products. The candidate should be adaptive to a continuously changing and fast-paced environment, be able to successfully multitask, and thrive in a dynamic, fully engaged QA role. The role will involve interacting with stakeholders in the QA, Product, and Developer teams.

Job Responsibilities

Candidates will be working on existing and new initiatives within the QA team using agile methodologies like Scrum, BDD, CI/CD.
Knowledge of Core Java and Python.
Understanding of SDLC and software testing concepts.
Basic RDBMS concepts and data querying skills (added advantage).
Work on both automation and manual QA tasks.
Design test scenarios and test cases manually.
Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concepts for test automation script development.
Troubleshoot issues, debug test cases, and fix errors.
Execute and analyze test results, prepare reports.
Defect reporting and tracking using defect management tools.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as a team player.

Exceptional Candidates Will Have

Knowledge of Agile methodology, GIT, CI/CD pipelines.
Exposure to Jenkins or CircleCI.
Experience with Selenium, BDD, Security testing, and Performance testing using JMeter.
