Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field at the time of application
• Syntactical knowledge in programming or scripting languages such as Java, C/C++, Python, etc.
• Understanding of computer science fundamentals: object-oriented design, operating systems, algorithms, data structures, and complexity analysis
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of distributed, multi-tiered systems, algorithms, and relational databases
• Understanding of optimization mathematics such as linear and nonlinear programming
• Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
• Comfortable working with ambiguous or undefined problems and ability to think abstractly
