Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field at the time of application
Syntactical knowledge in programming or scripting languages such as Java, C/C++, Python, etc.
Understanding of computer science fundamentals: object-oriented design, operating systems, algorithms, data structures, and complexity analysis
Excellent problem-solving skills
Good verbal and written communication skills

Knowledge of distributed, multi-tiered systems, algorithms, and relational databases
Understanding of optimization mathematics such as linear and nonlinear programming
Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
Comfortable working with ambiguous or undefined problems and ability to think abstractly
Quick learner with the ability to adapt to fast-paced/agile development environments
