Role Overview

  • Collaborate in Agile scrum teams working on features for the management and control of Packet Optical Devices in Ciena’s product suite
  • Quick prototyping using newer technologies and open-source platforms in Web and NMS domains
  • Troubleshoot product issues found in the features developed

The Must Haves

  • Currently pursuing MCA, M. Tech., or B. Tech. in Electronics and Communication, Computer Science, IT, or a related field
  • Strong skills in analysis, coding, testing, and documentation
  • Understanding of Object-Oriented Concepts, data structures, and algorithms
  • Knowledge of Operating System concepts
  • Understanding of Networking Concepts
  • Hands-on experience in one or more of the following:
    • C/C++
    • Java/JavaScript
    • Python
    • JavaScript/HTML/CSS/jQuery
    • Scala
